Fastnet Success for Hannah and Henry onboard Sea Ventures SF 3300 FASTRAK XII
Huge congratulations to Hannah Diamond and Henry Bomby for their success at the 2019 Fastnet race onboard FASTRAK XII, Sea Ventures brand new Sun fast 3300!
Henry, Hannah and FASTRAK XII (our new Sun Fast 3300) have had great success in the classic offshore Fastnet race this year. On the Team’s inaugural outing they produced some marvelous results and certainly deserve the celebratory pint they are enjoying in this picture taken at the finish. They achieved 1st IRC 3A 2nd IRC 3 overall 2nd IRC Double handed.
Henry and Hannah ran a perfect race but not without its problems having split their code 0 and lost their wind instruments in the latter stages. Despite the problems they maintained their position, reporting 23 knots at one stage and certainly got their Olympic aspirations off to a flying start.
The Jeanneau factory team Sun Fast 3300 SAPRISTI also ran a great race skippered by Alexandre Ozon finishing 6th in IRC 3A, 9th in IRC 3 and 7th in IRC double handed. It was an impressive first outing for Jeanneau’s new racing machine. It was a big race fleet this year, and the Sun Fast 3300s showed
